Oxfordshire Frim Defies Credit Crunch
Birmingham -

An Oxfordshire online marketing agency has defied the effects of the credit crunch by expanding its workforce. Unlike many local businesses, Indium Web Management based in Summertown has increased its staff levels by 100% within the past four months.

Unemployment in Oxfordshire is currently the highest it has been in nine years, with a 10% increase in those claiming jobseekers allowance since July this year. As more firms locally are forced to lay off staff and with an overall increase in redundancies, one Oxfordshire firm is defying the credit crunch and reversing the trend.

Indium web management begun life in February 2007, as an online marketing specialist and has increased it’s client base progressively since. Based in Summertown, Oxford, Indium Web Management has hit back against the national trend and has increased its workforce by 100% within the last four months. In this time they have taken on one new e-Marketing Manager as well as three new e-Marketing Executives

“By taking on additional members of staff, our team has been strengthened in order to support clients and make their online activity more effective.” Explains Chloe Thomas, Managing Director of Indium Web Management. "We had an amazing response to our job adverts, with an extremely high calibre of candidates applying. This has meant we were able to get the very best people possible for the positions.  As it happens we have even been able to offer a position to someone who was recently made redundant.”
